Polaris Day is an employee recognition program that honors and recognizes well deserving staff members and teams. The Day also serves to commemorate the birth of Polaris Bank in the Nigerian Banking industry as a result of the merging of different cultures, brands and ideologies.
The program serves to celebrate the resilience of our people who against all odds, daily defy the challenges, embrace the struggle and continuously build this Bank that is now a Mega Bank and is still growing.
Polaris Bank encourages its employees to engage in volunteering initiatives through our institutionalized program tagged Employee Corporate Social Responsibility (E-CSR). Dated as far back as the year 2012, the employees of the Bank have been involved in several community developments in host communities and have contributed positively to the empowerment of youths in these locations.
Our E-CSR program has over the years focused on schools development, providing text and note books to schools, infrastructural upgrade such as provision of borehole, toilets, roofs, chairs and desks, computer rooms, generators, building blocks of classrooms, painting etc in host communities across the Nation where we conduct our businesses. We have partnered with NGOs who are committed to capacity building in providing vulnerable groups with health related services, counselling education and skills acquisition.
Our E-CSR program has continued to evolve with employees recently supporting internally displaced people (IDP) by providing relief items to alleviate their food and hygiene needs at a selected camp.
We are proud to say our employees have affected the lives of over 30,000 people across the Nation.
